Chiropractic Care Across the Lifespan:  Clinical Challenges & Diagnostic Strategies

Sharpen your diagnostic reasoning, recognize key warning signs early, and strengthen your clinical decision-making to improve outcomes and reduce medicolegal risk.

    Program Overview

This engaging full-day seminar with Dr. Shawn Thistle is designed for practicing chiropractors who want to enhance their diagnostic confidence when evaluating challenging conditions that present with musculoskeletal symptoms — from infants and children to adults and older patients.

Through case-based discussions and evidence-informed strategies, you’ll learn how to differentiate common mechanical presentations from conditions that may signal serious underlying pathology requiring medical referral. The program explores age-specific conditions, diagnostic nuances, practical examination tips, and clinical pearls that you can immediately apply in practice.

You’ll also develop strategies to recognize red flags early, make sound referral decisions, and document care effectively — essential skills to promote patient safety and reduce professional risk. With breakfast, lunch, and breaks provided, this seminar offers a full day of evidence-based learning, real-world clinical insights, and actionable takeaways to elevate your diagnostic acumen while protecting your patients and professional reputation.

    This seminar will help you:

    1. Apply evidence-based frameworks to differentiate mechanical from non-mechanical sources of pain.
    2. Identify age-specific red flags and referral indicators across the lifespan.
    3. Recognize and appropriately manage “masquerading” musculoskeletal conditions that present in chiropractic offices.
    4. Enhance diagnostic efficiency and accuracy in daily chiropractic practice.

Attend and win! All seminar ticket holders will be entered into a draw for:

    • 1st Prize: Apple iPad
    • 2nd Prize: Apple Air Pods 4
